FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q. Do you think that possibly the data base may decrease in price as at the moment it does seem a bit steep taking Shipping and Handling into consideration.
A. Following the many comments and feedback I have received, for which I thank you all, have decided on a final pricing policy. As understandably no-one seems interested in a purely Reference version, which defeats the object of the database, I have decided to supply only the full interactive version, and in order to maximise sales potentials have decided on a final price of ...£49.50.... including post and packaging.
Q. Is it possible to buy the database via e-mail with a credit card?
A. Yes but only through the PayPal system.
Q. How are you taking orders?
A. For time being can only accept orders by "Snail Mail" or through PayPal system.
Will accept payment by whatever means purchaser finds easiest, as long as its bankable in U.K
For time being will even accept part or full payment in GB DECIMAL mint stamps at face value.
Q. How will the venture operate
A. It is intended that I the author will be in control of the Master database which will be updated week by week or even day by day depending on new issues.
New purchasers will receive an up to date copy, and a register of users will be kept.
Q. How often and what price will updates be.
A. I the author will keep a diary of all additions and users will then be able to update from anytime to present.
I envisage updates being available at 6 monthly intervals. It is highly probable that updates will be able to be sent via the Internet.
Q. are the numbers shown fixed or can any catalogue be used?
A. The additional numbers shown are purely for cross referencing purposes. The database has its own numbering system built in.
Q. can user add own additional enteries using existing scanned images?
A. Yes and No. Basically once purchased the database can be customised to users desire. It will be possible to add your own records but this will make it impossible to affect official updates as the records will be out of sequence, or the Unique Single stamp number may have been duplicated.
Q. any user definable fields? comments notes etc.
A.
