MachinBase is a computer program/Database written specifically for the the Great Britain Decimal Machin Head Definitive Stamps collector, enthusiast, buff - call us what you like. With the fall in cost and the rise in power of the personal computer, the full potential of this medium is now coming to fruition. Applications which were once a dream are now easily within the reach of everyone.
The main purposes of the Application are to be a complete Reference and organiser for the Machin enthusiast.
All the complexities of the MACHIN series can now be brought together in an easily manageable form.
Imagine a catalogue with Every Single stamp, Booklet pane, Coil strip and Cylinder Block illustrated in full colour and accurately depicted down to the last perf hole, including phosphor band/s placement and fluor colour and instantly traceable to its source/s.
3 years in the making - It is only since the introduction of Microsoft Windows that such an application has become feasible. Now it seems the best way forward. Why keep having to purchase new catalogues every 2-3 years containing mostly the same as last edition.
MachinBase is a once only purchase, which will be kept up to date through moderately priced updates reflecting latest stamp values and new issues/additions.
Updates can be effected as often or infrequent as user whims.
