Advantages:- View sets of stamps in multitudes of different ways. It is often useful to view sets of stamps in different ways. One of the advantages of a database is that you can view sets not normally available by other means. To name a few examples, it is possible to view only one value, one printer, one paper type, gum type, phosphor band/s- type, Head type, etc etc. It is even possible to view sets by date or colour, by source (be it coil,sheet or booklet pane). View by catalogue value at or below or above a certain figure. Or more often useful, view by any combination of factors. Many of the most useful means of selecting sets are already built into database and can be activated by a simple click or two.
